Athena Demwe Power Limited (ADPL) is promoted by Athena Energy Ventures Private Limited (AEVPL), which in turn is a Joint Venture of AIP Power Pvt. Ltd. (AIP Power) formally Athena Infraprojects Pvt. Ltd (AIPL), M/s. PTC India Limited and M/s. Infrastructure Development Finance Company Limited.

PTC India Limited (PTC) is a pioneer in establishing power markets in India and continues to be the electricity trader with largest volume share in India’s evolving power markets. PTC has also been mandated by the Government of India to handle a significant part of electricity trade with neighbouring countries like Bhutan and Nepal.
